My rhyming nativity plays are purpose written to be adaptable for anyone needing a nativity script. They are instantly downloadable and have been used for all ages from pre-school through to an all adult cast.
All of my nativity plays can easily accommodate last minute cast changes as they are carried by a rhyming narration interspersed with acting lines in rhyming couplets which can often be allocated to the narrator instead or shared between other characters etc. The rhyme makes speaking parts easier to remember, and I also offer suggestions to increase or reduce the cast size without altering the length of the script.
The choice of scripts is listed below and will increase as I make more available for sale, but each one is based on the traditional bible based nativity story and is adaptable for all sized casts. As it is just a matter of personal preference, I have given a general summary and a preview of each to make it easier to choose.
For a cost of £9.95 you will receive a pdf document of the entire nativity play script (which should last around 25 minutes) , PLUS sheet music and a FREE midi recording backing track of 5 OR 6 purpose written songs using familiar and popular children’s tunes, to which I add my own simple and effective Christmas words. I also include a free Christmas poem relevant to the theme, and a purpose written ‘Roll Call’ poem which the cast say as they take a bow to round off the play.
I also strongly recommend the upgrade to the word document version (costing an extra £2), which then enables you to personalise/amend/ reduce the script as you choose and makes copying and distributing scripts so much easier.

This 20 minute nativity script is purpose written for a church nativity service with a small cast of young people of reading age ( teenagers especially!) in a church with a fun, family atmosphere (adults are required to join in!)
