POEMS ABOUT FAMOUS PEOPLE AND HISTORIC EVENTS

Often, when I have been studying a subject closely beyond the well known, everyday information, I have enjoyed writing a poem which combines all of the facts that have fascinated me the most. Other times, a moment or event in history will simply inspire a thought that develops into a poem, not always factual, but based on a person or event in history. These are a few examples of my poems written about, or inspired by famous people or events in history.
