POEMS ABOUT THE TUDORS

Having been on a school visit and been given a guided tour around a beautiful hall full of Tudor history, I felt inspired to write some poems about the Tudors. Knowing that many primary schools study the subject I deliberately wrote my poems with the intention of them being useful in school so that poetry can be combined with topic work. These are all of my Tudor poems listed together below. There are a selection of different poem forms as I know that the national curriculum requires children to look at a wide range of poem forms too.

Can you recognise this person from the descriptive kenning?  The poem deliberately starts with the vague characteristics, and progresses towards the finer details that make the subject clearer.
