POEMS ABOUT THE SEASONS

The seasons naturally inspire poets to write, as they are so full of variety, movement, and ever changing sights and sounds. Just as with flowers, I cannot help but see personalities in the seasons, so my poetry often includes personification of the seasons, my favourite being my “PICTURING THE SEASONS” collection of poems. I write seasons poems for all ages and in various styles, so all of my seasons poems are listed under this heading, from an autumn countdown movement song for infants, to the illustrated canvases of my Picturing the Seasons collection. To help you select the poems that are most useful to you, I have provided a brief description of the poem and the figurative writing and poetic techniques that it includes.
