BONFIRE NIGHT POEMS

Bonfire night is full of sights, sounds and emotions, so is perfect for inspiring poetry. The bonfire night poems that I have written incorporate different poem forms, and lots of descriptive and figurative language as I have deliberately written them for use with primary children in schools. I have tried to incorporate messages of safety as well as lots of onomatopoeia in the fireworks poem, so I hope that I have inspired some ideas for you to write your own bonfire night/ firework poems.
