Christian Poetry
Another of my Christian poems, this prayer is written in the style of a list poem, prayerfully asking God for help in making decisions.
What should I do? Who should I be?
What life has God prepared for me?
Where can I find God’s role for me?
Where should I go? Who should I be ?
Should I let go? Should I hold on?
What role awaits me from now on?
Lord, help me know who I should be:
Show me the life you have for me.
Show me my purpose in Your plan.
When I say “can’t”, teach me “I can”!
Lord, show me patience: hold my hand,
And guide me till I understand.
And when you’ve shown me what to do,
Give me the strength to see it through.
