Spring
Echoes of colour spring from the earth.
Life celebrates new moments of birth.
The animal kingdom announces its worth;
The season of Hope has appeared.
Summer
The sound of blue skies in the playground resounds.
The music of laughter and sunshine surrounds.
A mixture of children and water abounds;
The season of Freedom and cheer.
Autumn
The golden leaves crunch on the soles of the shoes.
Rustic bright colours blend with the blues.
Warning the world that the winter ensues;
The season of Change perseveres.
Winter
Jack Frost holds to ransom the earth’s atmosphere.
Evergreens loiter as life’s souvenirs.
The ground breathes relief as a snowdrop appears;
The season of Waiting is here.
All Year Round
How precious the seasons, their anticipation:
Their twists and their turns, one long celebration
Of nature’s enjoyment of regeneration.
Be thankful for seasons all year.
