A Letter from Goldilocks
This fun letter poem is written in rhyme and rhythm as an apology to Baby Bear for breaking his chair. The entire poem uses the same rhyming phoneme.
Dear Baby Bear,
I truly am sorry that I broke your chair:
I realise that it’s too hard to repair.
I just want to make sure that you are aware
That I really do, truly and honestly care.
I’m not in the habit (I know it’s unfair)
To leave someone’s property worse for wear.
So clearly, in writing, I’d like to declare….
I’ll buy a replacement for your impaired chair.
For now, just relax somewhere else in your lair
(And warn both your parents so they don’t sit there!)
I’ve got to go now although, please, don’t despair:
I’m off to Ikea….. I might see you there?!
Love from
