A Rainbow Poem
This rhyming acrostic poem
goes through the colours of the rainbow in order,
using a list poem format,
and including some alliteration
and assonance.
| Red draws the outline, a beautiful bow |
And orange within it brings a soft glow
Inside beams the yellow, bedazzling bright
Next is the green, a calming delight
Bringing some depth is a soft shade of blue
Over the arc of the violet hue
With shadows of indigo closing the show
