Hey Diddle Diddle

Hey Diddle Diddle, the Cat and the fiddle,

The cow jumped over the moon.

The little dog laughed to see such fun

And the dish ran away with the spoon.

My alternative version of Hey Diddle Diddle is amongst the “Ugly” poems of my book “The Good, the Mad and the Ugly: A Collection of Angela’s poems.”  (RRP £5.99.  When you get used to my childish sense of humour you will probably guess what I rhymed with “diddle” and hence why it’s in the “Ugly” chapter of the book!
